Bad weather notice

Due to the bad weather and dangerous road conditions we have decided to close Friday 3RD of December . We will be open Saturday 4th of December as normal for those collecting their new caravans.

Winter Sale Open Weekend

Winter sale open weekend starts Saturday 27th November to Sunday 28th November. Hot drinks and food will be available and a big sale in our accessory shop to make your visit even more worthwhile.

Winter Prices On Used Caravans

After a record caravan show at the NEC (Birmingham) in October, many customers have collected their new caravans to beat the VAT increase in January 2011. This has left us an abundance of pre owned caravans at winter prices. Your P/X will be welcome and some of our vans have motor movers and awnings.

NEC Caravan and Motorhome Show 2010

Well the NEC Caravan and motor home show 2010 is only 5 days away and all our staff are busy preparing. We are in hall 18 stand 20 this year with 18 new caravans on display. 15 of these are exclusive to Kimberley caravans with our own specifications. We are also showing 3 of the new Eccles with the new innovative design and optional panoramic window. These are new to Kimberley and not yet on display on site, but will be back here after the NEC Show for all to see. We hope to see many familiar faces at the show and plenty of new ones to.

New Sterling Unveiled.

Just come back from the Swift Group Trade Launch of their 2011 Models to be released mid-September and the Eccles/Elite Sterling ranges are radically different to any caravan I've seen! Whilst the Europa range is pretty much unaltered the New 2011 model Eccles are totally different. Looking like a luxury motorhome with panoramic front roof section available as an option, this range will set the pace for the sales of top end touring caravans. Our buying power has secured stock but availability is likely to be outrun by demand on the first batches. I've got a quick video clip taken from my phone, official info will be out soon!!

Welcoming New Staff

New Arrival: We have just had delivered the tiny 2010 Elddis 302. The smallest of the Elddis range at just 10'6" internally and 15'5" in overall length this 'baby' carvan will be a hit with those wanting a small but comfortable tourer. Weighing just 796kg with a m.t.p.l.m. of 950kg it can be towed by most small cars on the road today, so it's enviromentally friendly too! It's on display now.

Happy Easter to all of our customers. Just to remind you that we will be closed on Easter Sunday. Our opening time on Easter Monday is a little later too, 10 am - to give us a bit more time to sleep off all those Easter Eggs!

News that four people responsible for the theft of almost half of all caravan thefts over the last few years have been jailed will be greeted by customers and insurance companies alike. Amazingly, after the four men, all from the same family were arrested in Wiltshire in 2007, thefts of caravans fell from 848 to 454 in a year.

We are currently in the process of setting up our exhibition space at Birmingham's NEC for the 2010 Caravan and Boat Show. Doors open to the public on Tuesday 23rd February. The show runs through to the 28th February. For those of you looking for a new caravan this year you will see on display our Limited Edition versions from Coachman and the Swift group with our Kimberley Amara and Europa Lux ranges. Also there are all the UK manufacturers. For those of you unable to make it the full range will still be on display at our Nottingham Dealership, along with our Elddis Vogue range. Our stand number is 5252 diagonally opposite Coachman Caravans on the main aisle, just look for our Big Green K.

Early bird catches the worm

If you are going to be looking for a good used caravan in 2010 it could be a case of the "early bird catches the worm" with many dealers already reporting low stock. Our part exchanges reached record levels in December so for now we have plenty of choice but they are going fast. 2010 looks set to be a bumper year, with the caravan club sites booking remaining at very high levels.

Increase in caravan collections

All the snow and ice has gone thank goodness, so we have increased our caravan collections with over 35 caravans going out over the next 2 weeks so far.
